I am now the newest teacher to 2nd grade math. I have always been a 3rd grade Math teacher (even though I teach 2nd grade in every other subject, our school had a continuous progress structure).
I have been busy researching apps and transforming my centers from multiplication, fractions, and division to addition, base ten blocks, and graphing.
I found a neat new app called slice it. This is a great app for teaching.practicing symmetry or equal shares with Fractions.
